Hampton Bands' Holiday Extravaganza set for Dec. 4
Zachary D'Amico

The Hampton Band Association's 10th annual Holiday Extravaganza is happening on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Benefiting all elementary, middle school, and high school bands within the Hampton Township School District, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hampton High School, 2929 McCully Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101.

Music will be provided throughout the day by students from the 5th grade Elementary Band, the 8th grade Middle School Band, and the High School Wind Ensemble.

The event features:

  • Holiday market — find something for everyone on your list with over 100 vendors offering a large variety of items. Some vendors are cash-only.
  • Band performances — festive performances by these HTSD bands:
    • 10:45-11:15 a.m. — 8th grade band
    • 11:45 to 12:15 p.m. — 5th grade band (with 8th grade band)
    • 12:30-1:15 p.m. — HHS Wind Ensemble
    • 1:30 p.m. — Hampton Dance Team
  • Cookie Walk — select from hundreds of homemade cookies and pay by the pound.
  • Santa and kids' activities — bring the children to meet Jolly Old Elf and be ready for a great photo opportunity. There will be frozen slushie treats and holiday crafts children can make and take home. Tickets must be purchased for these activities, and space is limited. Note: tickets are first-come, first-serve at the event and only available for remaining time slots. Sign up here
  • Band Dads' Cafe — stop by for a quick bite to eat or a beverage from some of our favorite men.
  • Raffles — basket raffle, cookie raffle, and 50/50 raffle.

The Hampton Band Association gives a special thanks to all its vendors and volunteers who make this possible.

All participants and attendees must comply with the District's current masking guidelines.
