HHS hosts Senior Art Exhibit

HHS hosts Senior Art Exhibit
Zachary D'Amico

Artwork from eight Hampton High School seniors was on display during the Senior Art Exhibit on May 5 at HHS.

The following students participated in the exhibit: Audrey Brienza, Devon Fritsche, Rachel Dolan, Katie Pham, Fannie Ketler, Victoria Lifschitz, Calvin Rogers, and Paula Ott.

Seniors enrolled in AP Art & Design are required to participate, but participants may be from any art course.  Participants must plan out and submit a layout of their installation and can choose from 6-12 pieces from their portfolio of work from over the past four years.

“I’m extremely proud of the hard work that these young artists have put in,” commented Mr. Dan Franklin, Visual Arts & Theatre Instructor. “The students involved approach this with great responsibility. They understand how important it is to put their best foot forward when creating the exhibition because it not only represents their own body of work, but it also represents the Fine Arts program and serves as an attractor for students who may be on the fence about enrolling in an art course at Hampton.”

HTSD congratulates these eight senior students!
