Hampton Township School District will celebrate “Hues and Harmony,” an exhibition of musical and visual arts, during the month of May.

An art reception will be held at Hampton Middle School on May 11 beginning at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the unveiling of select secondary artwork. The reception will feature an art sale and interactive print studio experience with the middle school’s student-run business “Hampton Creates.” The 7th and 8th grade band concert will follow the art reception at 7 p.m. in the HMS auditorium.

“The goal of Hues and Harmony is to proudly celebrate the creative work and development of our student artists,” said Lisa Woods, HMS Art Teacher. “The exhibition also serves as a showcase of the Hampton arts education program. We aim to bring color, hope and inspiration to the HTSD community!”

Spring Music Department Concerts featuring students in grades 4-12 who participate in band, chorus, and orchestra will be presented throughout the entire month of May. Please visit https://www.ht-sd.org/arts/music for the full schedule.

“The HTSD Music Department is looking forward to showcasing our students as they perform in our annual Spring Concerts as part of the District’s Hues & Harmony Arts Festival,” said Sean Desguin, Elementary Band Director. “We are excited to collaborate with the Art Department in this annual celebration of The Arts in Hampton!”
