Pittsburgh Business Times ranks HTSD 4th among southwestern PA school districts

HTSD is proud to announce that the District has been ranked fourth among 105 regional school districts according to the Pittsburgh Business Times’ Honor Roll ranking, part of their 2022 Guide to Southwestern Pennsylvania Schools.
Hampton has moved up one spot since being ranked fifth in 2020. The ranking looks at three years of state standardized test scores and ranks regional school districts from highest-scoring to lowest-scoring based on a proprietary formula.
“I am extremely proud of our students, teachers, and the entire Hampton school community for this achievement,” said Dr. Michael Loughead, Superintendent of Schools. “This recognition is especially appreciated because it was achieved under such challenging and unforeseen pandemic conditions.”
