Superintendent's Letter: Welcome Back!

Superintendent's Letter: Welcome Back!
Zachary D'Amico

Dear Hampton families,

Throughout my career in education, the first few days of school have always provided me with a unique sense of optimism and joy. Seeing the smiling faces of our students and teachers as they joined in the hallways and classrooms gave me every reason to believe this school year will be one of our best yet.

One of the many reasons Hampton Township School District continues to further our Tradition of Excellence is through our incredibly caring and supportive school community. Each member of our school community contributes to the success and growth of Hampton’s students in their own way.

I hope you all had an opportunity over the summer to look at our District calendar for the 2022-23 school year. The calendar is filled with inspiring and uplifting quotes from our students — in addition to their smiling faces captured throughout their experiences in academics, arts, athletics, and acts of service.

Each quote and photo are emblematic of this year’s theme which was “The Heart of Hampton.” While I am extremely proud of Hampton Township School District’s continued high rankings and achievements, it is the level of care, togetherness, and compassion displayed by each of our students, staff, faculty, and community members that truly makes this such a special place to learn and grow.

If you have the time, I encourage you to read the quotes featured in this year’s District calendar. They have filled my heart with an abundance of Talbot pride, and I hope they will do the same for you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael R. Loughead
